We brought Annabel’s magical Christmas façade to life with Swarovski’s spectacular dreamlike vision of a crystal-dusted gingerbread house.
The Challenge
Annabel’s, the private members’ club in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, is famous for its Christmas façades, and to pull off the 2021 collaboration with Swarovski, described by Annabel’s creative director, Tatiana Kharchylava, as their “most ambitious and ornate spectacle to date”, they needed a team with tried and tested capabilities.
The Solution
We were charged with the technical implementation and installation of the dramatic crystal façade, and decommissioning it after the festive period.
The project required a team able to tackle the combined challenges of a tight timeline, the logistics of preparing a central London site for a complex installation over 16 nights, and facilitating a creative vision of suitable grandeur.
The Impact
We were delighted to collaborate with the teams at Bacchus, Annabel’s and Swarovski to bring the dazzling façade to life in time for the big reveal, heralding the start of a glittering festive season.
Described as “spectacular” by Tatler and as maybe “the fanciest gingerbread house of all time” by Time Out, the Christmas façade got a rapturous reception at the unveiling event in November, attended by celebrities and high society figures.
