Details

We created composite images for a futuristic 3D fashion experience as part of the campaign for the Simone Rocha x H&M collection.

The Challenge

High-end production company Gainsbury and Whiting realise high-concept fashion shows, events and photoshoots. They contacted us to support them with an augmented reality pop-up book for a collaboration between world-leading fashion brand H&M and London-Fashion-Week-favourite, Dublin-born designer Simone Rocha, known for her dreamily romantic yet eerie aesthetic

The Solution

The project required extensive experience working with 3D modelling and luxury fashion brands. To create high-quality composite images showing the looks on models in 3D, we used still photography of the book’s pages, which featured Wei Wei’s artwork, and 3D motion scan data of the clothed models.

The Impact

Partnering with Gainsbury and Whiting to bring the Simone Rocha x H&M collection virtually to life was a dream come true, and the promotion campaign generated a lot of interest.

This project perfectly demonstrated the alchemy you can achieve by blending the latest technology, art and fashion – turning fantasy into reality and stirring an audience’s emotions.
